Spontaneously collborating one afternoon in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Helen and I did a guided relaxation with a patient and her mom that yielded fantasic feedback and encouragement to make a recording. Here it is.
If this can help in the PICU, it can help anywhere!! Helen playing her hammered dulcimer and I speak from a place of deep heart and meditation. We have weaved together voice and music, that relaxes the body and calms the mind.

Course Description:
This course will address the cognitive and experiential aspects of touch therapy. Participants will learn & demonstrate touch
therapy techniques which may help with management of pain, anxiety, nausea, and impaired sleep for patients Target Audience:
Staff who would like to incorporate touch therapy in their nursing practice. Successful completion of a beginning level touch therapy educational workshop is required prior to performing touch therapy with a consenting patient.
