Find yourself first as the witnessing presence of awareness in the background of experience. Recognize yourself as that and be that knowingly. ‘I’ is the name we give to the knowing, aware, perceptual element of the experience. Simply know to be; be aware of being. Awareness of being is happiness itself. Awareness has no form but assumes all forms of experience. Why do I believe that I am a temporary, finite separate self and suffer? This infinite awareness must seem to become a finite mind. The infinite cannot know the finite directly, so must do so through the agency of the mind. The faculties of perception and thought are the means by which the one appears as many. You, finite mind, are the localized activity through which infinite awareness is able to actualize a segment of its infinite potential in form. As such, the finite mind is the instrument of creativity, of love. This meditation has been taken from Rupert’s five-day retreat at home in February 2021.

Neuroscientist James Fallon is a self-styled “hobbit scientist.” The rules are simple: Don’t talk to the press, and don’t go out of your area of expertise. But when a fascinating new brain scanner enters the lab, Fallon can’t resist. He breaks both rules and learns much more about himself than he bargained for. Scientists, writers, and artists take to the stage to tell stories about their relationship to science. The result is a collection of poignant, hilarious and unpredictable tales sure to intrigue and surely hard to forget. Presented in collaboration with The Moth. Watch them all in The Moth at WSF Series. Original Program Date: June 4, 2011, The World Science Festival gathers great minds in science and the arts to produce live and digital content that allows a broad general audience to engage with scientific discoveries. Our mission is to cultivate a general public informed by science, inspired by its wonder, convinced of its value, and prepared to engage with its implications for the future.

Don’t disobey lockdown orders: If you have a cough or a cold for God’s sake stay at home.
I’m not going to play the game of endlessly defending what I didn’t say by people mischaracterizing me as a troll tactic. But:

1. There is a virus
2. Obviously, it’s not the flu, stop commenting that like I said it was. I do read some research and I’m not stupid (despite all indications to the contrary)
3. Yes I know we don’t know what the R0 is, not the case fatality rate, yes I know it may mutate, yes I understand flattening the curve. Thank you

To repeat the points made in this video:

1. stress and fear is being leveraged against the population to force them to accept measures they would never normally accept: contact tracing apps, medical passports, and goalpost moving of civil liberties. This is NOT an acceptable way of handling the situation. This needs clear, sober, and open debate, not appeals to people’s baser instincts and sentimentality.
(See “clap for the NHS”- kindergarten behavior)
2. Do people understand that crashing the global economy will create far more illness, pain, and death or not? Is there any way to make them understand or will they just pick a side, clamp hands over ears and shout “ra ra ra”?
3. Our rights are already being eroded! Look at the unprecedented censorship of MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS citing published research!! Look at the governments telling Doctors how to write up death certificates!
You can’t claim to be pro medicine and pro-science and IGNORE these simple facts!

I’m not going to argue with every faceless, content less anonymous profile in the comments, my position was made perfectly clear in the video. If anyone demonstrates they want just want to unload their opinion without listening first, which is their right, I’m going to go ahead and block them, which is mine.

I apologize for ranting, but This situation is getting ridiculous. We must push back or we will get mugged off.
