Again we venture into the exciting world of dark money’s influence into our precarious Republic’s highest court, the Supreme Court. Some might find this topic as interesting as watching laundry spin round in a cranky dryer of a sparsely populated laundromat at 2:00 a.m. I humbly suggest we would all be better off learning more about how dark money influences our highest, the Supreme Court narrowly decided five-four decisions. My favorite expert on the subject is Senator Whitehouse. Clearly, this is an area of jurisprudence we should all be concerned about. The founding fathers set up the Supreme Court with lifetime appointments to allow this important arm of our Republic transcend immunity from the Politics of the moment. Dark Money’s influence has already impacted the justice choice, cases heard, and over 80, 5-4 Supreme Court decisions during Justice Roberts tenure.
