Product details
The EP900 system is an inverter stacked on top of Bluetti’s B500 battery units. Capacity depends on how many B500 battery units you install — about 9 kWh with two units, about 18kWh with four, up to 39.6kWh if you install an additional system. Where the EP900 shines is its power output — a continuous 9kW at any capacity size, or 18 kW with two systems. It’s backed by a 10-year warranty with an 80% end-of-warranty capacity guarantee. We found this battery to be slightly cheaper than similar options. It has the lower depth of discharge (90%) and round-trip efficiency rating (85%) than peers.

I bought this for my son who was left without power after a storm, as he works from home thought this with a 200w panel well enough to keep his laptop and phone charged and even able to make a coffee as well

It’s bigger in person
This unit is really big, and quite a bit heavier than I imagined, BUT they’ve been hitting me with rolling blackouts since I got this and it’s nice knowing I’m not left in the dark anymore. I originally wanted this behind my fridge but it just won’t fit, so if the blackouts get long enough I’ll just roll it over to the fridge to keep my food from spoiling. This unit arrived safely palletized and has worked great the several times I needed it to keep things running when the power grid failed me.
