What’s the first thing Joye wants folks to know about Durham right off the bat?

“Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean that it’s a bad thing. I think Durham is misrepresented a lot. I think that Durham has in the past and probably even still now gets a bad rap for something that maybe a minority, a small group of people, will do. They paint the whole city that way. Really, it’s just about understanding.
