There is a much easier way to resolve a complicated problem than attacking it straight on. This applies to problems wherein you do not have an immediate and easy solution.  Some problems require a diversified group effort to resolve.  Think like a sea otter all day today.

Directly addressing the concern is important, though allowing the Egoic mind full reign is not unlike unleashing a bull in a China Shop (see our current President or maybe someone in your household)

What is one to do with a very difficult and perhaps entrenched problem?. Workaround it for starters.  Nature always has a suitable solution.  Watch ants when confronted with a difficult problem, they see an obstacle in their intended path and instead of wasting valuable time and effort hitting it head-on, they find a way around the obstacle (see tree or rock).  Materialists (see Nativism and fascism) look for ways to conquer Nature.   See a beautiful river that supplies precious drinking water to 10,000 indigenous peoples.why not allow progress to push an Oil pipe below the same river so that these large oil companies may export more precious fossil fuel.  Think like a sea otter all day today.

Materialists (see Nativism and fascism) look for ways to conquer Nature.  See a problem and it must be immediately overcome so that we may live happily ever after.  See a beautiful river that supplies precious drinking water to 10,000 indigenous peoples why not allow progress to push an Oil pipe below the same river so that we may burn through finite fossil fuel.  Imagine instead the larger corporations invested 1/4 of their profit on alternative energy research and development.  Imagine the same companies implementing what they already know about Solar and Wind power into viable wind and solar farms? Might this mean a temporary hit to the profit line yet save precious resources for when our country needs these precious resources?  Imagine we all thought like Americans first and then moved into our Tribe mentality. Might this require a unifying, visionary leader?

Run into an impasse in your marriage and or strong disagreement where the money is concerned?  Not seeing eye to eye on things of parallel import? Why not open up to the things that work well in your relationship?  Start small by working together to resolve simple problems.  Celebrate successful milestones with agreed-upon mutually satisfactory enjoyable activities.   Share a Chili roasted sweet potato salad at Scratch or try a Beet Lassi at Viceroy, for instance.    Imagine how well this might work to resolve the tension around the bigger issues?  Resolving tension allows expansion to occur. Expansion or broadening the group view allows the bigger picture to come in, and thus a higher probability that a solution will come.  Solutions will not come when we contract or close our minds around “what’s in it for me”?  Disease and no solutions come when we contract into our respective protect me (see ego) positions.  Think like a sea otter all day today.   Looking for inspiration see the image at top of this post.

This morning I hear the birds singing each to each.  This morning those of us amongst the living have an obligation this day and the next to look for common solutions to our little and big problems. The grass is not greener on the other side though it sure looks that way from your Ego’s tiny little-contracted window with shades drawn all the way down. Think like a sea otter all day today.
