The rain becomes you.

I held the door for an older gentleman the other day as he exited Barnes&Noble, New Hope Commons. He was slow on the way out and lacking stability so I stayed with him for a moment. I asked him if he was alright, and he replied “Trying to decide, what the weather is going to do” as we both looked westward towards Orange County. “That bank of clouds are stacked up for something,” I said in retort. I think he was assessing whether to drive into the onslaught of a torrential downpour or wait it out with a coffee or tea. A good thing to do as his age, I thought. Something we all should take into consideration before driving, conditions. His thoughtful concern slowed me down for the drive home and into the evening.

Trying to decide what to do.
